At VihaaVastra, we take pride in the quality of our apparel and ensure every product is thoroughly inspected before shipping. We understand, however, that issues can occasionally happen in transit or a product may not meet your expectations based on the description.
1. Eligibility for Returns & Exchanges
We offer a strict 3-day return or exchange policy from the date of delivery.
Returns or exchanges will only be accepted under the following conditions:
Damaged Product: The item received is defective, stained, or damaged during transit.
Incorrect Item: The product received does not match the description or the order placed (e.g., wrong color, wrong design).
Exceptions & Non-Returnable Items: * We do not accept returns for buyer’s remorse, subjective dislike of the color (due to monitor display variations), or incorrect size ordered if the measurements match our sizing chart.
Sale and Clearance Items: Products purchased during a clearance sale, festive sale, or marked as “Final Sale” are strictly non-returnable and non-exchangeable unless they arrive damaged or defective.
2. The Unboxing Video Requirement (Mandatory)
To protect both our customers and our business from fraudulent claims, an unboxing video is strictly mandatory to process any return or exchange. * The video must clearly show the original sealed packaging being opened.
The video must clearly show the defect or the incorrect item received without any cuts or edits.
Claims submitted without a valid, uncut unboxing video will be automatically rejected.
3. Condition of Returned Items
To be eligible for a return, the item must be in its original, pristine condition. It must be:
Unused, unworn, and unwashed.
Free from any odors (perfumes, body odor, smoke).
Returned with all original packaging, intact tags, and any accompanying accessories or documentation.
4. The Return Process & Logistics
Initiation: You must initiate the return within 3 days of delivery by [insert method, e.g., using the Returns section in your My Account dashboard, or emailing email@vihaavastra.com] along with your order number and the unboxing video.
Approval: Once our team reviews your video and approves the claim, we will schedule a reverse pickup.
Pickup: Our courier partner will pick up the package from your address within 2 business days of return approval. Return shipping costs are entirely covered by VihaaVastra.
5. Quality Inspection & Failed Inspections
Once the item reaches our facility, it will undergo a strict quality check by our team to ensure it matches the original claim and meets our return conditions.
Failed Inspection: If the returned item fails our quality check (e.g., it shows signs of wear, smells of perfume, lacks original tags, or the damage does not match the unboxing video), the return request will be formally rejected.
In the event of a rejected return, no refund or store credit will be issued. The item will be shipped back to your original address, and you will be required to cover the reverse shipping costs prior to dispatch.
6. Refunds and Store Credit
Refunds are processed only after the returned product has reached our facility and successfully passed the quality inspection. Upon approval, you may choose one of the following resolution methods:
Store Credit (Recommended): For the fastest resolution, we can issue VihaaVastra Store Credit for the full purchase amount. This is credited to your account immediately upon inspection approval, allowing you to seamlessly place a new order or choose an exchange.
Original Payment Method: The refund will be credited back to the original method of payment (Credit Card, UPI, Net Banking, etc.). Please allow 5-7 business days for the credited amount to reflect in your bank account or statement after we have processed it.
